The Zareba G552 Dual Opener is made for people who have residential gates with a max length of 18 feet and a max weight of 850lbs.The this is a low voltage system, so it eliminates the need for 110 AC at your gate. Simply run 16-gauge two-conductor stranded low voltage to a household outlet within 1000Æ of the operator. Once the wire is at the outlet simply, attached your wire to the provided plug-in transformer. You could also power your G550/G552 with a solar panel. It can also be used for either push or pull to open (push to open means the opener is still mounted on the inside of the property but the openers pushes the gate out away from the property). The optional push to open bracket is needed for push to open operation. The Zareba G550/G552 is a fully weatherproof system that consists of a non-reversing electro-mechanical linear operator, powered by a 12V DC battery, coupled with a control board to control the arm and trickle charge the battery. The Zareba G550/G552 can be used in conjunction with exit sensors, magnetic and solenoid locks, safety sensors, intercoms, digital keypads, and much more. Included with Zareba G550 Gate Opener Kit is a: 7 A/h 12V Battery, Operator arm with the power cable (2 Operator arm for G552), Control Board, Receiver, Transmitter, 18V Transformer, Mounting Hardware, Brackets, Instruction Manual, Product Manual and Public Warning Sign.
